While I was in Glienicke, during my mission, I had the opportunity to visit the former concentration camp, Sachsenhausen.  It was a great experience to visit the camp.  Some people actually contend that the holocaust never took place.  These people obviously have never been to a concentration camp.  The feeling there is very solemn, like the ground is speaking to you about the things that once went on there.  I was grateful to have that opportunity to witness with my own eyes some of the results of the holocaust.  We should never forget the atrocities that were carried out during the holocaust.
